1. The promise
Unused wallet balance is refundable. No lock-in, no expiry. You don't need to explain why — we'd rather have one happy ex-user than a grudge-holder on Twitter.
2. How to request
Open /dashboard/billing and click "Refund remaining balance". The refund goes back to the original Stripe payment method within 5–10 business days. One click, one confirmation modal, no retention offers.
3. Stripe fees
Stripe does not refund their processing fees on refunded top-ups. We pass that fee on at cost (~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). The refund amount is shown in the confirmation modal before you click.
4. What we won't refund
Tokens already consumed by your API calls — those are logged in /dashboard and on /usageLog. If you believe a charge is a bug (wrong token count, double-debit, etc.) email me@alwa.info and we'll reconcile against the upstream DeepSeek response.
